Dr. Lisa Spence earned her BS, MS, and PhD from Purdue University in Nutrition Science. Additionally, she is a RD. Dr. Spence serves on faculty at Indiana Universitys School of Public Health as an Assistant Research Scientist. Prior, she worked in various positions including the National Dairy Council, Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, and Tate & Lyle managing research and science education programs for various audiences including health professionals, academia, and industry. She has published on calcium/dairy intake, bone health, and weight management, and on fibers nutrition and health benefits, and on sodium reduction technologys impact on diet and health.
