Hilary Whitham, PhD, MPH

Hilary Whitham is an epidemiologist at the CDC. She has an undergraduate degree in criminal sociology and spent several years conducting evaluations of court, correctional and inmate re-entry programs. For 10 years she served on the Minnesota Department of Corrections Human Subject Review Board. She later received an MPH and PhD in epidemiology from the University of Minnesota. Her current work focuses on economic and policy analyses specific to the prevention of enteric pathogens, with the underlying goal of translating data into public health practice
