Joanna Cummings is the Associate Dietetic Internship Director and Instructor in the Graduate Programs in Human Nutrition at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU). She is also the Director of the OHSU-Lao Nutrition Education and Research Partnership. Ms. Cummings also teaches Global Nutrition and Public Health and Nutrition at OHSU and is a Nutrition Focused Physical Exam Trainer for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. She is also adjunct faculty for Metropolitan State University in Denver, Colorado. Her research interests include nutrition screening, malnutrition, nutrition management of neglected tropical diseases, and ethics of global development.
